EMPRESS hacker published sad message in which she wrote that the release of the crack for Monster Hunter Rise will be delayed. All because of the insanely complex latest version of Denuvo, which is also enhanced with custom DRM and VMProtect v3.7.1. After the beta test, she realized that she would have to start hacking again, and she is not sure if she can handle it at all. The full translation can be read below:
Denuvo is getting tougher and tougher, at the moment it’s version 16, which just has insane level of difficulty. CAPCOM not only puts Denuvo on their DLCs, they also put a very nasty custom DRM integrated with Denuvo on top, twisting these threads into countless hellish chains. And… of course, we also have VMProtect v3.7.1.
I started work on the current crack for Monster Hunter Rise at the end of last year, but without much attention and focus, as I was busy with other personal projects, and did not expect such difficulties.
I foresaw some problems in advance, but now, after the results of the first beta test, it became clear to me that fixing this crack would take quite a long time, and it probably wouldn’t work well anyway. Therefore, I came to the decision to repeat the hacking attempt from scratch, with more concentration. This will also allow me to hack the latest version of the game.
