The Adria (London, UK) – REOPENED January 2022: A charming 19th century townhouse in a leafy neighborhood
This residence located in South Kensington has a distinctly domestic ambiance. With just 24 refined rooms and suites, this 19th-century townhouse has a distinctly British style with a contemporary twist. Inside, antique objects mingle with modern furniture, sumptuous fabrics and original artwork. Italian marble bathrooms feature heated floors and Bamford organic products. Ideally located just a short walk from Harrods and London’s museum district, The Adria is a delightful haven of privacy and comfort. Notable features of this property include a fitness room as well as a spa where you can indulge in a deep massage. Additionally, several elegant lounges are available to guests. The Polo Lounge hosts afternoon tea service each day, while the games room offers a cocktail trolley. Guests are encouraged to ask the concierge for a detailed list of recommended local restaurants, ranging from Asian delights to Michelin-star establishments, perfect for in-room dining.

In the heart of Vancouver’s vibrant financial and fashion districts, and just steps from the waterfront, Azur Legacy Collection promises distinctive accommodations, fine dining and the city’s first rooftop garden restaurant. The Chedi Katara Hotel and Resort (Katara, Qatar) OPENS November 2022: Mughal meets Ottoman in this new seaside palace
Between the desert and the Arabian Sea, this lavish 91-room property is a new landmark for Doha, with its own private beach, destination dining options, wellness spa and swimming pool. Located in the artistic Katara district, known as the cultural district of the capital, the complex combines elements of Mughal and Ottoman design heritage, with striking colonnades and a sumptuous interior garden. Each of the hotel’s rooms, suites and private villas are decorated with custom wooden furniture and rich oriental rugs presented in a fresh, contemporary style. Facilities include Qatar’s first overwater restaurant, Marsa Katara, the jewel in Chedi’s culinary crown, as well as two other restaurants, a cigar lounge and a full-service spa suite.
Aleenta Retreat (Chiang Mai, Thailand) NEW OPENING APRIL 2023: A contemporary design refuge in one of the most beautiful areas of Chiang Mai
Accessed via a tree-lined driveway in Chiang Mai’s Umong district, entering the courtyard of the new Aleenta Retreat feels like entering a small Thai village square. Around its central swimming pool flanked by bamboo and frangipani trees, stand four old Thai teak wood dwellings, which the hotel has redeveloped into a spa, a restaurant, the local craft shop and a family villa. Inspired by the masonry of Chiang Mai’s ruined temples, Aleenta Retreat’s 44 spacious rooms fuse traditional Thai design with a calming palette of natural hues and sophisticated furnishings.
