This season’s selection includes newly opened hotels as well as major renovations. It includes the first Leading Hotel in Qatar, a stylish townhouse in London, a holistic retreat in Chiang Mai, and an Art Deco hotel in Vancouver.

The Adria (London, UK) – REOPENED January 2022: A charming 19th century townhouse in a leafy neighborhood

This residence located in South Kensington has a distinctly domestic ambiance. With just 24 refined rooms and suites, this 19th-century townhouse has a distinctly British style with a contemporary twist. Inside, antique objects mingle with modern furniture, sumptuous fabrics and original artwork. Italian marble bathrooms feature heated floors and Bamford organic products. Ideally located just a short walk from Harrods and London’s museum district, The Adria is a delightful haven of privacy and comfort. Notable features of this property include a fitness room as well as a spa where you can indulge in a deep massage. Additionally, several elegant lounges are available to guests. The Polo Lounge hosts afternoon tea service each day, while the games room offers a cocktail trolley. Between the desert and the Arabian Sea, this lavish 91-room property is a new landmark for Doha, with its own private beach, destination dining options, wellness spa and swimming pool. Located in the artistic Katara district, known as the cultural district of the capital, the complex combines elements of Mughal and Ottoman design heritage, with striking colonnades and a sumptuous interior garden. Each of the hotel’s rooms, suites and private villas are decorated with custom wooden furniture and rich oriental rugs presented in a fresh, contemporary style.
