The voter participation rate for the Presidential Election (Pilpres 2024) reached 81.78%. Meanwhile, the voter participation rate in the Legislative Election (Pileg 2024) for the DPR was 81.42%.
The number of valid votes for the presidential election was 164,227,475. Meanwhile, the national valid votes from the DPR legislative elections were 151,796,631.
This was stated in a slide show during the presentation by the Chairman of the General Election Commission (KPU) Hasyim Asy’ari at the hearing (RDP) with Commission II of the DPR.
“Then, the total number of valid national votes was 164,227,475 valid votes,” said Hasyim in the DPR Commission II Meeting Room, Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday, March 25 2024.
Pair number 1 Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar alias Cak Imin (AMIN) received 40,971,906 valid votes. Then, pair number 2 Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka received 96,214,691 valid votes.
“Pair number 3 (Ganjar Pranowo and Mahfud MD), received 27,040,878 valid votes,” explained Hasyim.

“The valid votes obtained by political parties and DPR member candidates for each electoral district are as stated in Attachment III to KPU Decree Number 360 of 2024,” said Hasyim.
The KPU also revealed the level of voter participation in the DPD legislative elections. The number is 81.36%.
