the level remains low – Le Quotidien de la Réunion

From March 6 to 19, 2023, 8 cases of dengue fever were recorded (compared to 7 cases the previous fortnight). The number of cases remains at a low level.

The daily involvement of everyone in applying preventive measures remains essential to curb the spread of the virus: remove anything that may contain stagnant water at home, protect themselves from mosquitoes (repellents, mosquito nets) and consult a doctor immediately as soon as the first symptoms.

Over the period concerned, the cases are spread over 6 municipalities: Le Port, Saint-Paul, La Possession, Saint-Denis, Saint-Louis and Saint-André.
