This Sunday, May 28, the LFP and Kipsta, Decathlon’s football brand, unveiled the official 2023-2024 Ligue 1 Uber Eats and Ligue 2 BKT balls during the UNFP Trophies ceremony. They are identical in design to the official 2022-2023 balls. We find the twelve heat-sealed panels specific to these balls and their trajectory quality. Nevertheless, they display new designs inspired by the sounds of football and the reliefs of France.
The 2023-2024 version of the official Ligue 1 Uber Eats ball wears the dark blue and lime green colors of the competition. All enhanced by an electric pink. Color graphic shapes have been extended. They are magnified by diagonals – characteristic of the Ligue 1 Uber Eats logo, wavy, reminiscent of sound vibrations. The sounds of football (songs of supporters, kicking the ball, cleats clicking on the ground, ball touching a net, etc.) thus appear with discernment and embody this universal immersive experience that speaks to every football fan. The names of the champions of France, as a tribute to the past heritage, remain annotated on the ball, distributed according to their geographical area on the national territory.
Regarding the official Ligue 2 BKT ball, the dark blue and turquoise colors of the championship logo are backed by magenta. The texture and the rugged lines of the French reliefs are the graphic key to its design. The accentuated peaks remind us that some climbs (towards the elite) are more difficult than others.
Ligue 1 Uber Eats and Ligue 2 BKT will use the same ball throughout the season. There will therefore be no return phase ball for the elite. On the other hand, a collector balloon for a social cause will be produced during the year. It will be used on a single day of the Ligue 1 Uber Eats and Ligue 2 BKT championship.
The 2023-2024 Ligue 1 Uber Eats and Ligue 2 BKT balls are already available at a price of 80 euros.
