Emelec managed to recover from a streak of three games without being able to win and last night won a hard victory over Liga de Quito by 2-0, at the Capwell stadium, in a duel valid for the sixth date of the LigaPro Series A.

Emelec managed to take an early lead with a goal from Colombian player Alexis Zapata in the 11th minute.

However, in the second half, things began to get complicated for Emelec, as they gave way to Liga, which at 60 minutes was close to equalizing, but Tomás Molina’s shot was blocked by Pedro Ortiz.
