Lipetsk plant of the Swedish-Swiss manufacturer of electrical equipment ABB, announced about leaving the Russian market, continues to work, Kommersant was told in the regional government.

“At the moment, the company’s management has not notified about the closure of the enterprise on the territory of the Lipetsk SEZ or about any reductions, now the plant is operating and fulfilling orders in full,” the government said.

According to officials, the company has a fairly large portfolio of orders for the coming months. “The regional government is in touch with the management and owners, a meeting will be held in the near future,” the administration said.

ABB’s Lipetsk plant was opened in 2015 and employs 78 people. The revenue of ABB Elektrooborudovanie LLC registered in the Lipetsk Region in 2021 amounted to 970 million rubles, net profit – 10.5 million rubles. The company also has a site in the Moscow region.
