The training, which took place in the “Sea Casino” Cultural Center, aims to maintain the motivation and competences of the pedagogical specialists in their work on the prevention of human trafficking at school, as well as maintaining the effective partnership with the Local Commission for Combating Human Trafficking. The seminar focuses on the prerequisites for creating vulnerability in adolescents for falling into human trafficking – dysfunctional family environment, personal factors, impaired communication with peers, emotional and behavioral problems. Indicators for identifying potential and actual victims of human trafficking were examined. Practical approaches to psychosocial support and assistance for adolescents vulnerable to or already affected by human trafficking and their families were provided. The speaker of the training was Mrs. Vesna Nencheva – a practical psychologist and trainer with many years of experience in working with adolescents and with specialists working in educational institutions. 25 pedagogic advisors, as well as the secretaries of the Local Commissions for Combating Antisocial Behavior of Minors from Burgas and the region, participated in the training.
