The price of gold jumped today, Tuesday, in Egypt, in the middle of trading, and the gram increased by 13 pounds at once, compared to its level in morning trading, due to the metal’s jump in global stock exchanges, according to Naguib Naguib, former Secretary General of the Gold Division at the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, to Masrawy.
Najib added that the gram of gold today recorded a new record high today, noting that the current gram price is the highest level this year.
Gold prices have seen big jumps in the local market for the past two weeks, affected by the global price of the metal, which rose due to the declaration of war between Russia and Ukraine.

14 karat gold prices rose to 587 pounds per gram.
And the price of 18 karat gold rose to 755 pounds per gram.
The price of 21 karat gold rose to 881 pounds per gram.
And the price of 24 carat gold increased to 1007 pounds per gram.

The price of the gold pound rose to 7048 pounds, and the price may vary from one dealer to another, and this price is equal to the value of gold in the pound, and its price is linked to the prices of a gram of 21 karat.
