Died on July 23, 2022 in Tunis, it was on Tuesday August 02, 2022 that the funeral ceremony of magistrate Pierre Mapouka, State inspector took place. He is buried 75 km from Bangui.

In his testimony on behalf of the family, the eldest son of the disappeared, Tony Mapouka described his father as someone with a sharp mind, a man of God and a great civil servant. For him, his late father had an exceptional professional life which is an example. He thanked him for the education to make them who they are today. In the reading of the funeral oration, one of the collaborators of the late Pierre Mapouka, of the General State Inspectorate retraced his school and university career. Endowed with several diplomas, the Inspector the deceased held several high administrative and judicial positions. According to the speaker, his disappearance will leave a great void within the Inspectorate. To show the gratitude of the Central African people for the loyal services rendered to the nation, the President of the Republic Faustin Archange Touadera awarded the missing person the medal of satisfaction posthumously.
