The man found burned in the trunk of his car identified

The man who was found in the trunk of a burnt-out Tesla overnight from Saturday to Sunday in Rivière-des-Prairies-Pointe-aux-Trembles, has been identified by Montreal police.

This is Hugues Leblanc, born June 8, 1974, a man who would be close to the Hells Angels.

The police discovered the body, tied up in a sleeping bag, after the fire had been completely brought under control. The murder was allegedly committed before his vehicle was set on fire.

His vehicle was found in flames shortly before 1 a.m. near the entrance to the Pointe-aux-Trembles nature park, on Gouin Boulevard.

An autopsy will be performed on the body of the 48-year-old victim, while his vehicle will be appraised.

The homicide this weekend is the tenth to occur on the territory of the Police Department of the City of Montreal, it was specified.
