Kollam ∙ A 19-year-old boy was summoned following a dispute in a social media group and the man who filmed the scene and circulated it through the same group has been arrested. The police are looking for the accomplice who called the youth and filmed the beating scenes. Rahul (Ambadi- 26) was caught by the Karunagappally police at Rahul Bhawan in Odanavattam Thuravoor. The arrest was made on the complaint of Achu, a native of Alappuzha Vallikunnam, who was beaten up.
The incident took place near a bar in Karunagappally on the 1st of this month. During the chat in the Facebook group where Achu and Rahul are members, there was an argument between the two. The next day Rahul came to Karunagapally with his friend and called Achu.
The police said that he was taken to a secluded place and brutally beaten. The police also said that Achu was stabbed in the neck with a knife.
