The May tickets for Argentine Trains are already on sale and the number of passengers is growing

“I’m going by train, I’m not going by plane” could be the new fall hit. The measures implemented by the Ministry of Transport of the Nation, aimed at the reactivation of railway services, the reconnection of cities in the interior and affordable ticket prices, are bearing fruit. At Easter, more than 28,000 people traveled on long-distance trains, which represents twice the number of passengers than in 2019. For their part, retirees and pensioners have a 40% discount and people with disabilities are entitled to a free ticket by presenting ID and certificate (the benefit is extended to a companion in case the issued certificate so determines).

In order to travel, passengers must enter the Trenes Argentinos website and check-in through the “Travel Confirmation” button. TOThere they will be asked to enter the reservation number and security code that was given to them at the time of purchasing the ticket.
