The mayor of Anderlues, Virginie Gonzalez (PS), has had her driving license withdrawn for a period of 15 days, confirms the Charleroi prosecution to our colleagues from 7sur7.
On Sunday July 10, she took the wheel on her way home from the Ducasse at Les Cerises de Thuin, under the influence of alcohol, and had a slight accident. According to another source on site that evening, Virginie Gonzalez crashed into street furniture and then hit a vehicle while reversing to get out.
Checked by the local Germinalt police, she was alcohol positive at 0.87mg / liter of air on the breathalyzer, or 2 grams in the blood, well beyond the legal limit of 0.5g, still reports 7 out of 7. The case should end up in court.
