The Egyptian Medicines Authority added: These drugs are cromolyn sodium, which is used intranasally, as well as meclizine, which is used orally and rectally.

And the Egyptian Medicines Authority had said that there are some medicines that can be dispensed from pharmacies without a prescription, such as medicines that contain aluminum hydroxide, calcium and magnesium carbonate, aluminum dihydroxy, sodium alginate, sodium bicarbonate, and calcium carbonate. Medicines tell the pharmacist about their illness; So that medicines containing these active substances are not prescribed, which may affect their health if taken

And the Egyptian Medicines Authority revealed a list of non-prescription drugs that may cause drowsiness, and that caution must be taken when driving, or handling machinery if taken.​

The Egyptian Medicines Authority said that the list of drugs includes antihistamines such as “Dexbrompheniramine – Dimitinin Maleate – Loratadine – Doxylamine Succinate”.
