FC Copenhagen face Manchester City tomorrow, Wednesday, away in the round of 16 second leg in the Champions League. Before the match, FCK gives a heavy message.
Viktor Claesson misses the return and will be out for weeks due to injury problems. Claesson was injured against Midtjylland, and is expected to be ready to play again in early April.
“Everyone at FCK wishes VIktor a speedy recovery,” the club writes on its website.
FCK fell against City with 1-3 in the first meeting, and is in third place in the Superliga.
Furthermore, Claesson will not be able to participate in the upcoming Swedish national team gathering. Jon Dahl Tomasson’s national team gathers for the first time at the end of March with training matches against Portugal and Albania.
