The Minister of Finance received an invitation from the Indian Ambassador to participate in a virtual meeting

Caretaker Finance Minister Youssef Al-Khalil received India’s ambassador to Lebanon, Suhail Ijaz Khan, and learned from him about India’s presidency of the G20 for the year 2023, which will be titled “One Land, One Family, and One Future”.

The Indian ambassador extended an invitation to Hebron to participate in the virtual meeting, which he is attending under the slogan “Financing Sustainable Development for Man,” and its significance is to convey the voice of developing countries regarding their financial problems.

Al-Khalil presented with the general director of “Tele Liban” Vivian Lebes the conditions of the station and the problems it faces in terms of financing, and fairness to the workers by granting them monthly assistance, which consists of two salaries, as well as all those who receive their salaries from public money.

And the Minister of Finance expressed every willingness to help, stressing, “Seeking, in accordance with the law, to find solutions that take into account the economic and living conditions of workers on the one hand, and the financial capabilities of the state on the other hand.”
