Deputy Defense Minister, head of the Main Military-Political Directorate of the Armed Forces, Colonel-General Viktor Goremykin noted that the army has all the necessary equipment for servicemen. He thanked the regions that offered to abandon New Year’s events for their support, but asked not to do this, RIA Novosti reports.

“I would like to emphasize that there is no need to cancel the festive New Year events in the Russian regions in order to use the saved funds to provide for our military personnel, including those called up during partial mobilization,” – he said.
