The cause of the death of eight people in a fire in a hostel in the south-east of Moscow was the bars on the windows. This was stated by the acting head of the capital’s GUMCHS Andrey Rumyantsev.
“The main reason for the death of people was precisely this, the fact that there were bars on the windows,” RIA Novosti reports the words of Andrei Rumyantsev. He also added that the fire alarm did not work in the hostel.
