The Ministry of Health of Jujuy prepares students for admission to Medicine for free

In an initiative framed in the planning of human resources in health, The provincial health portfolio will launch for the first time in Jujuy the Preparation Course for Admission to Medicine and related careers to provide the tools and knowledge necessary to successfully achieve admission to the university environment.

This strategy also contemplates the possibility of reducing the gap in access to university higher education, since taking into account that there is still no Medicine degree in the local environment, it can occur together with the situation of migrating to another province, the high costs for training in academies and/or preparation courses.

The Preparation Course for Admission to Medicine and related careers will have face-to-face modality and provide the contents required to enter careers such as Medicine, Biochemistry, Pharmacy and other health sciences in public universities throughout the country, facilitating materials, contents and key tools for this stage.

The intensive training is intended for students who are finishing or have finished high school and want to continue their university studies in the area of ​​health.

They will be held from December 12 to 23 in person at the facilities of the Dr. Guillermo Paterson Higher Institute at Calle Alvear 1152 (CEPAM Building), 2nd floor, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Requirements

  • Proof of regular student indicating that he does not owe 4th year high school subjects or proof of title in process or certified photocopy of secondary title
  • Proof of enrollment in a career in medicine, biochemistry or pharmacy at a public university anywhere in the country
  • ID photocopy
