The Ministry of National Education, Primary Education and Sports decided to issue forty implementing texts to implement the requirements of the statute for ministry employees.

Minister Chakib Benmoussa stated that this step comes as a result of intensive dialogues with educational unions and actors in the sector, stressing the importance of continuous consultation and cooperation to achieve the aspirations of workers in this field. He indicated in his answer to a parliamentarian’s question that the social dialogue that brought together the ministry and educational unions produced results. Very positive, represented in clear agreements and the new basic system that embodies the government’s commitment to the principle of participatory, as the preparation of the applied texts is scheduled to include decrees and decisions that will be issued successively during the year 2024, within the framework of strengthening the sector’s capabilities and ensuring the full implementation of the basic system.

The new statute is the result of broad consultations and constructive dialogue, which will organize work within the ministry and precisely define structures and tasks, ensuring a motivating and productive work environment for employees. The system includes five main bodies that include the fields of education, educational administration and management, inspection, supervision, monitoring and evaluation, and education administration. National and research professors, which provides a comprehensive framework for achieving educational goals.

Benmoussa also pointed to the importance of the public and private references that guide social dialogue, including the constitution, the royal directives, and the government program, in addition to the memorandum on regulating the relationship between the ministry and the unions, stressing their role in consolidating the culture of dialogue and strengthening the partnership with educational unions.
