Al-Marsad newspaper: Mwatana documented, in a video clip posted on social media, the moment the Riyadh Municipality removed the umbrellas from the front of the houses.

In the video, the citizen said: “They removed all the umbrellas in the neighborhood. They told us that it is forbidden to have umbrellas in front of houses, in all neighborhoods.”

And she continued, “We tried with them so that they would not remove it, but without result. By God, this umbrella cost me regarding 13,000 riyals, a loss. The place was aesthetic and had decorations, and it was not distorted.”

She added, “The municipality told us that all umbrellas will be removed, so whoever has an umbrella removes it before they remove it.”
