The king made his demands to the creators.
Charles III expressed dissatisfaction with the TV series The Crown. The new British monarch believes that the Netflix product harms the reputation of the royal family.
An insider told the publication INC-newsthat the king is worried that the new season of the series will highlight the “dark years” of his life, as well as his divorce from Princess Diana will be “unnecessarily dramatized”.
According to the king, the creators, in pursuit of profit, do not think about the fact that the audience identifies what they see on the screen with the real life of members of the royal family.
In this regard, the monarch requires that at the beginning of each series it should be indicated that this is not a documentary, but an art project.
