The Monte-Carlo Television Festival ended on Tuesday 20 June in the evening. Various achievements and actors were honored during the closing ceremony of the Golden Nymphs. The prizes were awarded by personalities from the small screen. Princess Charlene of Monaco presented the special Prince Rainier III prize.

Shortly after 6 p.m., the first personalities began to walk the red carpet. Miss France 2023 arrived with her chaperone Cindy Fabre. Asked about the television actor for whom she would have a soft spot, Indira Ampiot preferred to dodge the question: “I don’t want to get cut,” she replied to Paris Match, laughing.

Many actors came. Melissa Gilbert from the American television series “Little House on the Prairie” spent many minutes with her fans. Called here and there, the actress has multiplied autographs and selfies. Josh Duhamel was also asked by the public for photos and signatures.

John Goodman, Sean Kanan (“Karate Kid”, “The Fires of Love”) on the arm of his wife Michele Vega or even Patrick Duffy, very in love with his partner Linda Purl, also posed.

The arrival of the princess

From yet another car stopped at the foot of the steps of the Grimaldi Forum, Princess Charlene of Monaco has extricated herself. A sudden calm fell on the red carpet, disturbed only by a few whispers, witnesses of the impatience of the public to see the last guest. All faces turned together towards the entrance and the photographers deployed in a compact wall, camera ready to welcome the arrival of the princess.

Contrasting with the electricity and the hubbub that reigned until then, the photo shoot took on a ceremonial tone. With a solemn step, Princess Charlene of Monaco took her place on the photocall after exchanging a few words with screenwriter Howard Gordon. It is therefore alone that she made her entrance, in a blue evening dress and a set of diamonds. Prince Albert had for his part taken part in the opening ceremony, reuniting with his friend Harlan Coben.

Discreet and distant, the former swimmer shook hands with several personalities, exchanging a few brief words with those who joined her for a photo session. Neal McDonough and his wife Ruve presented themselves at his side, accompanied by their children whom the princess greeted with kindness. With a small smile on her face and bright eyes, Prince Albert’s wife was then joined by Louis and Marie Ducruet, Princess Stephanie’s son and daughter-in-law.

Awards

Once the princely family was installed on the balcony, overlooking the Grimaldi Forum, the closing ceremony, jointly hosted by influencer Léna Mahfouf and English actor Ricky Whittle, could begin.

Princess Charlene of Monaco presented two prizes at the end of the evening, one to honor the career of screenwriter Gordon Howard and the second, the special Prince Rainier III prize, decorating the film on global warming “Until the Last Drop”. “And the winner is…” will remain the only speech by Princess Charlene of Monaco made to the public during the evening.

All the winners then gathered on stage for one last photo. The Princess greeted each of the winners, shaking their hands and giving them a few words of congratulations.
