The Moroccan futsal selection has risen to 9th place in the world, according to the ranking published Wednesday by Futsal World Ranking.
The national team, which has 1,441 points, ranks first at the continental and Arab levels.
The top of the ranking is dominated by Brazil (1796 pts), ahead of Spain (1754 pts) and Portugal (1744 pts).
The national futsal team won its second consecutive Arab Cup title by beating its Iraqi counterpart 3-0 in the final on Tuesday in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
