The Tanger Med Zones industrial, commercial and logistics platform, which brings together the Tanger Free Zone, Tanger Automotive City, Renault Tanger Med, Tetouan Park and Tetouan Shore business zones, has just posted a remarkable performance for the year 2022.
With nearly 200 million investments and 13 billion dollars in turnover, this area which occupies the north-west of the Kingdom of Morocco is now positioned as the most important multi-sectoral platform in the southern Mediterranean.
Backed by the Tanger-Med port complex, Tanger Med Zones has been an essential destination for investors for years, particularly in the automotive, aeronautics and textile sectors.
Thus, the automotive ecosystem, thanks to the factories of Tanger Automotive City, achieved in 2022 a turnover of just over 9 billion dollars, i.e. more than 53% compared to 2021. The logistics sector has reached 2 billion 500 dollars, while textiles and aeronautics each achieved 1 billion dollars and turnover.
