Deliveries of Lexus cars to Russia through official channels have been stopped, but the popular models of this company have not disappeared and continue to come to us through parallel import schemes. Among them, of course, one of the main roles is occupied by the popular crossover, which is considered the most reliable SUV on the planet.
We are talking, of course, about the Lexus RX SUV. As it became known to Daily-Motor.ru, a large batch of such crossovers of 2023 (fifth generation) was brought to Russia.
Cars are imported with several power units, which include both gasoline and hybrid power plants. In its most powerful performance, the RX takes only 6.2 seconds to accelerate from zero to the first “hundred”, and the maximum speed of the crossover is 210 kilometers per hour.
Lexus RX is interesting because it is one of the most reliable cars in the world. So, for example, the authoritative publication “J.D.Powernames it the most hassle-free SUV in 2023 along with the Toyota C-HR.
Both Japanese crossovers in the latest analyst study collected just 111 problems per 100 vehicles produced, while the industry average is 186 problems per 100 vehicles produced.
In addition, Lexus received the best reliability rating of any brand in the survey with 133 problems per 100 vehicles, 40 fewer than Cadillac and 51 fewer than BMW.
Prices for the 2023 Lexus RX in Russia start at 5 million rubles, but depending on the version, country of delivery, equipment and the greed of the importer, they can be much higher, reaching up to 12 million 400 thousand rubles.
