The mountain arrives at the Tour de France: know the route of stage 7

On the morning of Friday, July 8, the seventh stage of the 2022 Tour de France will be run, which will be the first with a high finish in a total route of 176.3 kilometers and can be seen in Colombia from 7:30 a.m.

Followed by 14 kilometers of descent until reaching kilometer 136.1 (Col des Croix) a third category port with 3.2 kilometers of ascent and a difference in level of 6.3% in a designed ascent to 678 meters above sea level.

As for the arrival, this will take place at kilometer 166.6, the ascent to the last mountain pass of the stage, which is located at the finish line, will begin.

The first category port is the last 6 kilometers of the competition (Les-Mines floor) will be on an ascent to 1140 meters above sea level. The port has 7 kilometers ascent with a drop of 8.7%. The unevenness will vary from 9.4 to 9.5% in the final six fractions of the last first category port.

The Slovenian rider of the UAE Team Emirates, Tadej Pogačar regained the leadership of the general classification of the competition and is now going for the three-time championship.
