For the first time in the Middle East, Abu Dhabi will host the award-winning musical Hamilton from January 17 to February 4, 2024, at the Etihad Arena on Yas Island.
Proactive Entertainment, the global company in the production and organization of major shows and concerts, announced that the play will be presented for three performances in Abu Dhabi.
The play was shown for the first time in August 2015 on Broadway, and it was widely admired by critics and audiences alike, which earned it international fame to be presented on the famous West End theaters in London, and Australian and German theaters. The play will soon launch on a world tour, as it will be shown for the first time in New Zealand and the Philippines, before the scheduled premiere in the UAE capital.
Through a blend of hip-hop, jazz, R&B and a distinctive Broadway vibe, Hamilton tells the story of Alexander Hamilton, one of the founding fathers of the United States, with an iconic musical style that has profound influences on culture, politics and education.
