Al-Akrimi was unable to visit her husband in the hospital, as she refused to sign a document as a condition before enabling her to visit, and she, accompanied by members of the defense team, left the Bizerte hospital headquarters, questioning the authorities’ intentions regarding this document and her husband’s health status.

On the other hand, the Speaker of the House of People’s Representatives demanded Rashid GhannouchiIn an open letter to President Qais Saeed, revealing the fate of Noureddine Al-Buhairi, reassuring his family and public opinion about his safety, enabling a medical and human rights team to visit him and review his situation, and called for his immediate release.

The movement had warned of the “health repercussions of Al-Buhairi’s kidnapping as a result of depriving him of medicine and health care.” In a statement on Sunday, Ennahda called for “disclosure of the place of detention of Noureddine El-Behairi and the provision of immediate health care to him,” holding “the responsibility for his physical safety to the head of the de-facto authority and charged with running the Ministry of the Interior,” referring to the president. Kais Saied and Interior Minister Tawfiq Sharaf El-Din.

In the face of the complete silence of the official authorities regarding the situation of Al-Buhairi, several leaders of the “Ennahda Movement” suggested that Al-Buhairi had suffered from a severe health problem, as the leader Osama bin Salem said that “Al-Buhairi suffered a heart attack, was resuscitated and was subjected to artificial respiration,” referring to The medical team expects that it will be difficult for him to resume normal breathing.

Bin Salem added in a post on his Facebook page, “The coup authority is following the situation amid differences of opinion on how the security and media outlets should deal with the crisis,” he said.

Ben Salem explained that “Al-Buhairi was detained in a house that is considered a secret headquarters used by the Ministry of Interior to conduct special investigations in which foreign investigators may be hired,” noting that “the house witnessed the death of a torture victim in a previous crime of the police repression machine,” he says.

The Tunisians are waiting for an official clarification of the circumstances of this file and the disclosure of the true health status of Al-Buhairi, the location and reasons for placing him under house arrest, in addition to allowing his family and the defense team to visit him.
