A famous technical expert predicted that the Apple Watch of the eighth generation would be equipped with a body temperature sensor that could alert the user if he had a fever.
And technology specialist Engadget quoted technology journalist Mark Gorman as saying that the sensor will not provide an “accurate temperature reading”, but the watch may send a notification asking to see a doctor or use a custom thermometer.
Gorman expected that the company will take this step after passing this feature of the internal test instructions, and that it will be used in the standard version of the Apple Watch 8 and another version for athletes.
The expert says that other changes in the new generation “will likely be minor”.
