Smeia, importer-distributor of BMW in Morocco, has just introduced the 8th generation of the 5 series, the brand’s iconic model, onto the market. The press conference marking the official launch of the new model took place on November 2 at the UTAC circuit in Oued Zem. L’Infomediary was present at the event.
The new 5 Series stands out from its predecessor, notably through an upgrade at all levels.
Smeia will market this new model in the Kingdom in its 520 d version, which is currently the only one available in three finishes: 577,000 DH for the Signature, 656,000 DH for the M pack and 753,000 DH for the M Edition, according to our sources present. at the launch ceremony.
The entire range will be available by March 2024, including hybrid and electric versions, it is reported. The objective is to sell 700 to 800 vehicles per year.
A true bestseller with more than 10 million vehicles sold worldwide, the 5 Series represents 25% of Smeia’s total sales, or 8,500 units since its introduction in Morocco.
