While the official announcement is scheduled for a few days, Xiaomi has already completely lifted the veil on the design of its next connected bracelet. As revealed by two images shared on Weibo, the Xiaomi Band 7 will use a larger screen than its predecessor, but above all wider.
This therefore confirms previous leaks, which indicated that the new screen would have a definition of 192 x 490 pixelsagainst 152 x 486 pixels for the Mi Band 6. We will therefore be entitled to 40 pixels more in width, and 4 pixels more in length.

From the strap images shared by Xiaomi, it looks like the rubber band is slightly wider on this generation due to the larger screen. This increased size will likely allow Xiaomi to use a 250 mAh battery, twice as big as the previous generation which only used a 125 mAh battery.
This battery increase should also allow Xiaomi to use for the first time un mode Always-On Display. It will allow users to read the time on their wristband even when the screen is off. Xiaomi is also expected to introduce new sports modes.
Anyway, we should soon know more about the features of the next Xiaomi Band 7, not Mi Band 7, since the Chinese manufacturer decided to abandon the “Mi” of its products last year.
