The end call button has been in a new place since the first iOS 17 beta released in June, but it’s been getting some attention recently after some posts about it were reported right, if the comments in our article on the change from last week are any indication. Significantly, many did not like the new position of the button, and the negative reaction may have contributed to Apple’s decision to move the end call button back to the center. Apple may have shifted the call screen controls to the bottom of the screen to make room for the new contact stickers in iOS 17 that are designed to highlight the faces of the people you’re talking to, and the bottom call controls arguably make them easier to use on larger phone screens also . There aren’t many other changes in the latest iOS 17 beta.
