The new Toyota GR Yaris is presented to the world today at the 2024 Tokyo Motor Show, with technical, design and structural improvements that promise to offer an even more intense driving experience.

The list of changes is extensive, and fully justifies the name “new GR Yaris”. Some key elements are the evolution of the three-cylinder turbocharged engine and the introduction of a new eight-speed GAZOO Racing Direct automatic transmission.
The chassis of the GR Yaris has been reinforced and, inside the cabin, the layout of the driver’s area and driving position have been redesigned to achieve a more authentic sports car feel, whether driving on the road or in competition.
The suspension has also been tuned to increase control and performance at the limit, with revised flexibility and increased absorption of the front shock absorbers.
The new GR Yaris offers everything that made the original a success. As a consequence, it promises to open even more distance from the competition.
