The Austrians also love the compact five-door model (see below). The latest model generation is now available – starting at 24,490 euros for the VW Golf 4Me with an 85 kW (115 hp) petrol engine and six-speed manual transmission.
The Golf Variant 4Me station wagon costs 2,100 euros more. The special “Rabbit” model, which is popular in Austria, starts at 26,990 euros.

In addition to the basic gasoline engine, a 110 kW/150 hp gasoline engine is available. Then there are two 48-volt mild hybrid petrol engines with 115 and 150 hp respectively. The other drives (TDI diesel and plug-in hybrid) will follow gradually. The GTI will be available later this summer.
