Khanh Hoa – The gate to welcome the new year 2023 in Nha Trang city suddenly collapsed in two. The locality quickly fixed the problem to ensure traffic.
On the evening of January 27, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ha – Chief of Office of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee confirmed that the locality had fixed the problem of the gate collapsing to welcome the new year 2023 in Nha Trang City.
Earlier at about 19:00 on the same day, people moving on Tran Phu Street in both directions in and out of Nha Trang city witnessed an incident when the gate to celebrate the New Year collapsed in half.
Specifically, the entire iron frame of the welcome gate broke in half, pressing on the eel in the middle of the lane. The iron frame folds in half, but the electric light system is still illuminated, attracting the attention of passersby.
Fortunately, when the greeting gate collapsed, the amount of traffic was not high, so there was no loss of life.
According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ha, immediately after the incident happened, the locality quickly fixed it to ensure traffic and safety for vehicles passing. The initial cause was determined to be due to high winds causing the iron frame to break.
However, the authorities will also continue to verify the cause of the incident so as not to repeat the same incident.
