The Ministry of Public Health announced, in its daily report, that 2,428 new cases of the new coronavirus (Covid 19) were registered yesterday, bringing the cumulative number of infections since February 21, 2020, to 1065307.
She explained that “2307 injuries were recorded among residents and 121 cases among expats,” noting that “11 new deaths were recorded during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 10,069.” She stated that “the number of hospitalizations yesterday is 505, of whom 269 are in intensive care.”
And the ministry had stated in its report yesterday, that “the number of hospitalizations yesterday is 539, of whom 279 are in intensive care.”
