Online travel agency Opodo reports an increase of more than 62% in flight bookings to Paris during the Olympic Games period compared to the same period in 2023.

In total, the platform observed an increase of more than 62% in flight reservations to Paris during the event compared to the same period in 2023. The Spanish (18%) are the first nationality to book flights to Paris over this period, followed by the Germans (15%), Belgians (11%) and English (10%). 61% of travelers stay between 7 and 16 days on average in the capital.
Although 69% of Ile-de-France residents planned to stay in Île-de-France during the sports event periodyes, some prefer to get away from the festivities by already booking their vacation. Among the favorite summer destinations of the French during this global event, Corsica stands out with Ajaccio, Bastia and Figari, followed closely by Portugal with Porto and Greece with Athens.
While Paris remains the most popular destination for foreign tourists during the event, Corsica also ranks at the top of the international choices, rising to second place with Ajaccio (+65% of reservations compared to the previous year), Figari (40%) and Bastia (33%).
