He pointed out that the “Omicron” mutator did not cause pressure on the health system in the country, despite the recent increase in cases, because most cases of infection are simple or moderate, stressing that the health sector possesses large and distinct components and a superior ability to provide the required health care services, whether infected with the virus. COVID-19 or other diseases.

He pointed out that the “Omicron” mutant is characterized by its rapid spread, but at the same time its complications are related to the upper respiratory system, especially the throat area, and its effect is very small on the lower respiratory system (lung), which reduces its danger and negative health effects.

He stressed that the unvaccinated are more susceptible to infection with the emerging “Corona” virus, than the vaccinated people.

He stated that there is indeed an increase in examination cases in many places, stressing that this leads to positive results, most notably the early detection and handling of cases of infection, as well as with contacts, all of which reduce the complications of the disease, enhance the chances of dealing with it effectively and reduce its danger.
Al-Rand warned that the symptoms of Omicron did not appear in some infected people until the fourth day.

The Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health and Community Protection for Public Health said: “We are at the end of the “Covid-19″ pandemic, according to global reports, and the opinions of most specialists will be 2022, which is the closest to the end of the pandemic.”
