BoActor R. Madhavan revealed that he wanted to marry Hollywood star Juhi Chawla. Madhavan says that he got such a desire after watching the movie ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’ released in 1988.
‘I have a confession to make. After watching the movie Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak I told my mom that I want to marry Juhi Chawla. I had only one goal that day to marry Juhi Chawla.’- Madhavan was speaking in an interview related to the promotion of the Netflix series ‘The Railway Man’.
The series also stars Juhi Chawla in the lead role. Madhavan revealed his old desire in an interview with both of them. Madhavan clarified that Juhi Chawla’s part was shot after her part in The Railway Man was shot and hence they could not act together.
The 1988 film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak was a huge success at the box office. Directed by Mansoor Khan, Aamir Khan played the lead role of Juhi. Juhi also won the Filmfare Award for Best Newcomer for this film.
Madhavan was yet to debut on the silver screen when this film was released. Madhavan made his acting debut in 1993 with the TV show Banegi Apni Bath. Madhavan entered the film industry in 1997 with the film Inferno. Later Madhavan was able to give many hit movies in Tamil.
