The Moroccan National Tourism Office (ONMT) unveiled, on Friday, the new “Forever Marrakech” campaign which embodies the resilience of Marrakech and Morocco, and whose vocation is to reaffirm Marrakech and more broadly Morocco as an essential destination.
“Forever Marrakech, As long as the sun rises, Marrakech will shine”, such is the signature of this new campaign with an intense emotional charge unveiled today in preview during the plenary session of the Annual Meetings of the World Bank ( BM) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF), indicated the ONMT in a press release. The international crowds of these Assemblies were an exceptional opportunity to launch this campaign in order to show the whole world that Marrakech, like Morocco, is an exceptional destination which will continue to shine with its characteristic light and warmly welcome all those who wish to discover it.
The continuation of this event, bringing together nearly 14,000 people of more than 150 nationalities, remains the most obvious proof that the city is able to welcome travelers from all over the world.
During its screening, the film “Forever Marrakech” was warmly welcomed by all the participants present at the financial high mass, the press release said.
The objective of this campaign is to reassure world travelers, but also to highlight the pride of Moroccans and the resilience of an entire people, who are already moving forward.
In the film of this campaign, the camera magnifies the light which touches the faces and the colorful facades of the city and reveals the treasures of the art galleries and local crafts.
As sublime Marrakech awakens and reveals itself to us, without artifice and overflowing humanity, in harmony with light, it gives way to measured joy and life.
To accompany this launch, the ONMT is also setting up a new graphic identity symbolizing the day that is dawning and which will continue to illuminate the city to infinity: “Forever Marrakech” accompanied by a very strong signature “As long as the The sun will rise, Marrakech will shine.” And as nothing has been left to chance, this tribute is carried by the voice of the Moroccan singer Meryem Aboulouafa who, for the occasion, performs her texts in honor of Marrakech, tinged by its specific riches and the mountains of the Atlas.
This new ONMT campaign will be deployed in the coming days in strategic markets, namely France, Spain, Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, mainly in Digital and static urban displays. and dynamic.
The Office, which aims to give the same momentum and dynamism to the different regions of Morocco, will then work to enhance all of the Kingdom’s other tourist cities in the same way.
