White coatsAfter the welcome and knowing everything that the UAG and the city of Guadalajara offer them, the new students received their first white coat, which symbolizes their commitment to the medical profession and their beginning as doctors in training.Since its origins, the UAG International Medicine Program has graduated more than 18,000 foreign doctors, mainly from the United States and Puerto Rico, who carry out their work with ethics and professionalism.As a special guest at the imposition of gowns was Dr. María de los Ángeles Valentín Mari, a graduate of the Surgeon career of the 1998 generation, who currently stands out as an internist at the “Mario Canales” Diagnostic and Treatment Center, in Jayuya, Puerto Rico.The ceremony was held in the courtyard of the UAG International Campus, where they took the traditional Hippocratic Oath, another symbol of medical work, in which the students promised to carry out their profession ethically.At the end, a generation photo was taken and the parents and other relatives and friends lived with the young people, all as part of the welcome program offered by the PIM.
