The Orlando Magic began a new reconstruction by transferring Aaron Gordon, Evan Fournier et Nikola Vucevic during the 2020-2021 season. A change of direction following two consecutive eliminations in the first round of the playoffs. The only two qualifiers in the top-8 in the Eastern Conference since 2013. With the Magic still going straight for a very weak exercise in victories (5-20, last for now), it is time to wonder if this team is not the worst for ten years in the NBA. Statistically it is.

The Magic notably finished all seasons except 3 with less than 30 wins. The franchise has racked up the top draft picks and it still hasn’t taken off. It now intends to rebuild itself around Paolo Banchero, first choice of the last draft. With also the prospect of selecting Victor Wembanyama or Scoot Henderson next June.
