The Outer Worlds devs apologize for the state of Spacer’s Choice Edition

Yesterday, we reported on the Steam Review for The Outer Worlds: Astronaut’s Choice Edition Plummeted due to poor PC performance, even with gear over recommended specs.

In response to the criticism, an Obsidian employee named ObsidianChris posted an apology on Reddit to fans. “I understand how frustrating this is and I assure you that the teams in the private sector are working hard to get the patch out as quickly as possible,” wrote in the post.

“If you experience any other issues while playing the game,” it continued. “Please feel free to submit a support ticket with Private Sector. They are dedicated supporters of The Outer Worlds and we are doing our best to pass all information on to them so they can find a solution as quickly as possible.

There’s no guarantee when The Outer Worlds: Astroman’s Choice Edition will see improvements, but hopefully we can expect a patch or two to quell the hatred the game has brought.
