Palestine – Palestine demanded the implementation of the Security Council resolution on the ceasefire in Gaza “immediately,” considering that the Israeli attack on the resolution was “unjustified” and reveals “Netanyahu’s undeclared war goals.”
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement, “The fierce Israeli attack on the Security Council resolution adopted yesterday is unjustified and has no meaning other than the insistence of (Prime Minister Benjamin) Netanyahu and the pillars of his ruling right-wing coalition to achieve his malicious, undeclared goals of war only by military means, and to give priority to the logic of military force.” Brutal on the language of reason, politics, and diplomatic efforts to complete the destruction of the Gaza Strip and kill all forms of human life in it.”
She pointed out that “Netanyahu’s declared goals for the war are completely contradictory and it is difficult to arrange them into explicit and clear priorities without this organic contradiction, which explains the continued Israeli rejection of all forms of international efforts to stop the war and achieve the protection of civilians and secure their basic humanitarian needs,” considering that “what Netanyahu is trying to hide This is constantly his real goals, given that his war essentially aims to remove the entire Gaza Strip from north to south from humanitarian service.”
She considered that “the UN Security Council resolution constitutes a valid basis for reaching a permanent ceasefire and resolving the entire crisis through political and diplomatic means, and it is binding and must be implemented,” warning against “the consequences of any explanations or proposing any mechanisms with the aim of emptying it of its content.”
It called for “the immediate implementation of the decision and the use of binding action mechanisms that are fully consistent with the text of the decision.”
