The Paris Café Festival, 1st festival dedicated to professionals and lovers of specialty coffee returns to the Carreau du Temple from March 9 to 11, 2024. For this 5th edition placed under the sign of novelty, The Paris Café Festival offers an even more intense program: thematic conferences, unique tastings and competitions bringing together the best baristas in the world.

FRENCH CHAMPIONSHIP: 2 NEW EVENTS
Like every year, the Paris Café Festival hosts events of the French Café Championships, organized by the French section of the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA). This year, to the delight of visitors, we will discover:
BARISTA FRANCE
The competition promotes excellence in coffee and the advancement of the Barista profession. Participants will each prepare 4 espressos, 4 milk drinks and 4 original signature drinks to exacting standards, all in 15 minutes!
COFFEE IN GOOD SPIRITS FRANCE
A unique event to discover for the first time at the Paris Café Festival! This competition mixes barista and bartender skills well beyond traditional Irish Coffee and takes place in 3 parts: • Spirit bar
• Preliminary phase: creation of 4 drinks (2 hot and identical based on coffee and alcohol and 2 cold and identical based on coffee and alcohol)
• Final phase: 2 identical Irish coffees and 2 identical drinks based on coffee and alcohol.
LE LATTE ART LIVE
The best baristas will demonstrate original drawings using milk froth. Initiations will also be offered to the general public.
THE ROAST MASTERS TOURNAMENT
Avant-garde, this competition had ignited the previous edition. It celebrates the best roasters on the planet with 7 new tests at a breakneck pace and immediate eliminations.
THE FOOD SPACE
Great novelty of this edition, a unique space dedicated to food is to be discovered! Visitors will be able to taste many sweets, always around a hot coffee…
LE LAB
The Lab space offers conferences to develop your coffee culture. Some 2024 themes: sustainability, traceability…
PRO DAY: MEET ON MONDAY MARCH 11
Monday March 11 is exclusively reserved for professionals from all walks of life: coffee shops and hotel-restaurants. All the most influential players in specialty coffee will be present to anticipate and meet new consumer expectations
