A series that wants to be faithful

The casting of the young actor already seems to be an indicator of the desire of the directors of the series to respect the original workmuch to the delight of fans.
Unlike the films, Percy Jackson will this time have the right age group since, as a reminder, thehe hero is 12 years old at the start of his adventures.

Moreover, Walker Scobel is also very similar to the description that is given of the hero in the books, in which he is described as “a young man with disheveled black hair, Mediterranean skin tone and green eyes similar to the color of the sea”. All he needs then is a simple black dye to his hair to look like Percy on screen.

It remains to be seen whether his acolytes Annabeth Chase et Grover will also have the right to equally similar counterparts.

Still no release date announced as to when Disney+ subscribers can join the demigods of Camp Half-Blood in the new Percy Jackson series.
