The attention of astronomy lovers is focused on Egypt And all over the Arab world, towards the sky, to witness the phenomenon of the conjunction of the moon with the planet Mars, today, Saturday, corresponding to January 29, as it is expected that the moon and the planet Mars will decorate the sky of Egypt, at dawn.

Ashraf Tadros, professor of astronomy at the National Institute for Astronomical Research, and former head of the astronomy department, confirmed, on his personal page on the social networking platform “Facebook”, that it is expected that the thin crescent moon will be associated with Mars at dawn, and this scene can be seen, where the moon rises first At 4:15 a.m., then Mars rises at 4:40 a.m., and they are next to each other until the morning twilight becomes stronger.

The last coupling between the Moon and Mars dates back to last June, in a phenomenon that some saw with the naked eye, while others needed to use an 8-inch or larger telescope, according to what the Astronomical Society in Jeddah said, on its official page on the social networking platform “Facebook”, the Mars appeared to the naked eye as an orange dot.
