While the economic magazine Forbes has just published its 2024 ranking of billionaires in the world, the vast majority of the first ones progress over one year, if not in the hierarchy, at least in the estimation of their fortune. A fortune down by 11 billion euros over one year
According to Forbes, family wealth has been declining over the past year. Given at 40.1 billion dollars (47.9 billion euros) in 2023, it is now (36.9 billion euros). Still a reduction of almost a quarter which causes the Breton family to slide from 32nd to 54th place in the wealth rankings in 2024.
Interests in fashion, auctions and the entertainment and sports industry
